Sound Design
Sound Design plays a large part in theatre shows. Sound that corresponds to the set, lighting and how the actors act creates a sense of immersion for the audience and kind of breaks the forth wall between the stage and the audience. The audience will also react to the sound and then it feels as though they are a part of the play as well. The audience will overall enjoy the show more as it will bring a sense of enjoyment to the show and a sense of realism to the play as a whole.
Adobe Audition
Once we source the sounds I would put them into adobe audition to cut off the quiet areas at the start and end of the sound and boost the volume to later change it in qlab.
To do this, I had selected the start end end separately to delete them making sure I didn't delete key points then dragged them into their respectable group in qlab, timed them and set the volume in relation to everything else.
