Sound Designer
the sound designer works within the theatre to create an immersive experience for the audience adding relative sounds and mixing different sounds to create an atmosphere that could simulate the atmosphere of the show. This is done in Qlab with sound effects.
The sound designer works with the director to set the scene of the play at various points. For example, a rain and thunder sound effect.
Sound Mixer
The sound mixer gets all of the sound input from mics and from Qlab and mixes them all on a mixing desk to make sure that none of the sounds peak or are distorted therefore creating a good listening environment for the audience.
